Special Appearance (Oct 8 & 9)
Duo Ramirez Satorre
(Adrian Ramirez on guitar & Hugo Satorre on bandoneon)
Hugo Satorre and Adrian Ramirez belong to a new generation of Argentine musicians that travel across the vast territory between academic and popular music. The duo was formed in 2008 with the purpose of exploring the music that Astor Piazzolla composed for two instruments. With this idea they recorded their debut album “Piazzolla de Camara” that was nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards in 2013. The project is now expanding, they’re incorporating works from other classical and contemporary Argentine composers of popular music to their repertoir
