NACHO ARIMANY is a master ethnic percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and composer whose music career began at age six as a classical piano student and singer with the Spanish National Choir and Orchestra. He possesses a highly unique blend of talents and diverse capabilities as a producer, performer and musician for the brain.

Beyond his early classical training, Nacho has been immersed in study of traditional rhythms from around the world since his teens, specializing in North African and Flamenco rhythms. He has toured globally and collaborated with artists from a myriad of musical traditions over the years. His cross-cultural music and vocal style integrates World Music, Flamenco, Jazz, and the natural resonant properties of the elemental instruments he plays, reflecting his deep belief in the joy and transformative power of natural rhythms and sounds. Nacho has performed and recorded with Lionel Loueke and Angelique Kidjo(Benin) Lizz Wright (USA), Farah Siraj (Jordan), Yungchen Lhamo (Tibet) and Flamenco stars Joaquín Cortés and Rafaela Carrasco (Spain).


Currently, Nacho performs with his avant-garde jazz ensemble, the Nacho Arimany New World Jazz Quartet and shares his Elemental Sounds & Rhythms workshops in the states and abroad. He has taught classes at conservatories and universities internationally and is currently an instructor at the New York Open Center Sound and Music Institute.

JULIO BOTTI is a Saxophonist whose album, Tango Nostalgias, was nominated for Best Tango Album in the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.
Botti began his musical career at the age of 8 in the Municipal Band of Bell Ville (Cordoba Argentina). In 1996, he graduated from "Escuela de Musica Popular La Colmena" Cordoba, Argentina. Botti traveled to Brasilia, Brazil to enter the International Course of Music where he is chosen to be part of the Symphonic Orchestra. In 1998, he moved to New York City where he studied with Donny McCaslin and Bob Franceschini.

In 2002, Botti traveled to Havana, Cuba to study Classical Saxophone at "La Escuela Nacional de Arte de La Habana". In 2003, he moved to Madrid, Spain where he created Jazz Quartet "Zafari Project". In 2004, he was selected to play in the “Injuve Ibiza Festival” shortly after Hotsak-Errabel Record Label produces his first album entitled “Zafari Project”. In 2004, Botti performed and recorded with Buddy Miles (Jimmy Hendrix's Band of Gypsys), and in 2005, he embarked on his solo album entitled “Lenguajes” which incorporates South American rhythms and Spanish influence.

In 2007, Botti moved back to New York City to take part in the collaboration of various musical projects and recordings, becoming an active member of the Latin Jazz scene while striving to develop a stronger focus on South American rhythms. He recorded Demo “South American Roots” featuring Percussionist and Drummer Quintino Cinalli (Esperanza Spalding) and Pianist Leo Genovese (Esperanza Spalding). This project gained the attention of Maestro Pablo Ziegler (Pianist to the late and legendary Astor Piazzolla). Botti developes Project “Buenos Aires Vanguard” which focuses on New Tango. Maestro Pablo Ziegler is featured as a special guest. In 2009, Botti toured internationally with the “Pablo Ziegler Trio” as a guest Saxophonist. In 2010, he was called by Sony Classical to record Saxophone for Opera Singer Erwin Schrott in his album entitled “Rojo Tango”.

Botti performed at Symphony Space New York, NY as well as Mondavi Center, Davis, CA in Maestro Pablo Ziegler’s “Beyond Tango” tour. In 2011, he began recording his own New Tango project under the direction of Maestro Pablo Ziegler.
